Magnitude 6.1 earthquake strikes off the coast of Mexico

(ETH) – A strong magnitude 6.1 earthquake has reportedly struck in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico according to ABC. The earthquake, was registered at 3:46 a.m. local time on Friday at a shallow

depth of  6 miles with the epicenter at approximately 108 miles east southeast of the resort city of San Jose del Cabo, on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. There was no tsunami warning issued with the quake.
