Fake News Tries To Debunk Trump Statement ‘Most Dangerous Cities Are Run By Democrats,’ and They Failed
By DJH Media, June 28, 2020
The Washington Post (WaPo) tried to debunk President Donald Trump’s statement that “the most dangerous cities are run by democrats.” After an exhaustive effort, and a written piece reviewing different types of methodology for citation, what they basically came up with is that a republican mayor was elected to Jacksonville in the last election, therefore WaPo has declared that Trump’s claim: “the most dangerous cities are run by democrats”, is false, because there’s now a top-crime city now run by a republican.
Look at the tiny red among so much blue, and the red just turned red. How pathetic is their attempt to cover for inept Democrat policies destorying millions of people’s lives?
The problem with liberals is that they do everything they can to support other liberals, including going to great lengths to cover things up that cause liberals to look bad.
WaPo’s conclusion is one of the most asinine arguments they could have made. The writers there have the right to be stupid, but do they have to take us up on that right all the time?
To use an argument that because a republican was recently mayor elected mayor in a dangerous city is to be so stupid as to think that the argument conservatives make is that as soon as a republican would take over a Democrat jurisdiction with high crime rates that the crime rate would drop immediately. This is what WaPo wants you to believe that conservatives believe. And it appears that all the leftist news rags are jumping to the defense of Democrats.
For example, USA Today did a study based on Trump’s statement, and they claimed it was “Mostly False.” They pointed to a 2018 study from Boston University that found racial segregation is a key risk factor for homicides.
According to USA Today, David Kennedy, the director of the National Network for Safe Communities at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, said, “You get a number. It’s completely accurate. And it’s deeply unrepresentative of what’s going on. Many American cities are the product of a long, long historical reality of white supremacy and racial violence and disproportionate action by the criminal justice system.”
