9/11 Families and Survivors Want Biden to Stay Away from 20th Memorial Events Unless He Fulfills a Campaign Promise He Made to Them

Families and survivors of the 9/11 attacks have asked for documents that could show links between the Saudi government and Al Qaeda but haven’t been given the documents. This is why more than 1,800 people who are survivors or family members are asking that Biden not come to the 20th-anniversary memorial events of 9/11 unless the documents are provided.

The New York Post reports that 1,800 people signed a statement that says since the 9/11 Commission’s final report in 2004, “much investigative evidence has been uncovered implicating Saudi government officials in supporting the attacks. Through multiple administrations, the Department of Justice and the FBI have actively sought to keep this information secret and prevent the American people from learning the full truth about the 9/11 attacks.”

It turns out that during the 2020 presidential campaign, Biden told them in an October 2020 letter that he would instruct the Justice Department to “err on the side of disclosure.” Biden promised these people but hasn’t followed through, so these 9/11 survivors and family members are holding Biden’s feet to the fire.

“We hope the Biden administration finally provides the information our families have waited to receive for 20 years so we can stand together with the President at Ground Zero on 9/11.”

The report on 9/11 implicates the Saudi government’s connection to the hijackers, and 60 Minutes reported on this connection in April of 2016:

9/11 survivors were shut down by Obama in September of 2016 when he vetoed a bill to allow them to sue the Saudi government:

The U.S. Congress passed a bill — unanimously — that would allow families of 9/11 victims to sue governments like Saudi Arabia who — we now know for certain — were involved in the attack.

The bill went right to President Obama’s desk.

The White House announced Obama would VETO the bill.

Unbelievable.

From CNN:

President Barack Obama will veto a bill that would allow terror victims of the attacks on September 11, 2001, to sue Saudi Arabia, the White House said Monday.

“That’s the plan,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said when asked if the President planned to veto the bill, saying it would “complicate diplomatic relations.”

Earnest defended the administration’s stance against the bill, saying it is not “an effective, forceful way for us to respond to terrorism.”

Lawmakers are expected to attempt to override the veto, and if successful, would mark the first time in Obama’s presidency.

Utterly disgraceful, even for Obama. Now his infamous “bow” to the Saudi king takes on a new and sickening meaning.

In April, a senior Saudi prince urged Americans not to vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming general election after Trump promised to “blow the lid” off secret documents proving that the Saudi government helped plan the 9/11 Attacks.
