Biden: 'I Don't Know Where I'm Going...I Get Told'

(CNSNews.com) - President Joe Biden was asked several times on Thursday about his limited appearances with Democrat candidates, who apparently don't see Biden as a campaign asset.
One reporter asked Biden if he has any plans to campaign in Nevada or Georgia in the coming weeks:
"Both the congressmen asked me to go out," Biden said. (He apparently was referring to Democrat Senators Raphael Warnock of Georgia and Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada, who find themselves in close races.)
"I don’t know if I’m going to be able to get out in Nevada. And in Georgia, they asked me to come down. We’re trying to work it out now," Biden said.
"Are you going to go next week?" the reporter asked. "I don’t know where I’m going. I’ve got about 16, 18 requests around the country, so I don’t know who’s going where. I get told," Biden said.
Earlier, as he was leaving the White House, Biden bristled when a reporter asked him why more Democrats haven't asked him to campaign with them.
"John Fetterman is going to appear with you today in Pennsylvania," the reporter said. "But there haven’t been that many candidates campaigning with you. Why are more —"
"That's not true," Biden interrupted. "There’ve been 15. Count, kid, count, alright?" he snapped.
"Okay, and are there going to be even more?" the reporter asked.
"Yeah," Biden said.
Later, in Pittsburgh, a reporter asked Biden, "Sir, why don’t more candidates want to be seen in public with you, like Mr. Fetterman?"
"They’re — they’re — what are you talking about?" Biden asked, according to the White House transcript.
"Tim Ryan in Ohio says he doesn’t want you there. Warnock said he wouldn’t say. Do you think they’re making a mistake?" the reporter said.
"No, there have been 16 that have already (inaudible), and a lot more have asked — another 20 or so. So I’m going to be doing it," Biden said.
