Mark Levin Utterly Wrecks Indictment Against Trump: ‘This is a disgusting mark on American history’

Popular Fox News host Mark Levin argues the indictment of President Donald Trump is an “insurrection” and election interference.

Levin said, “President Trump is 76 years old. If the Department of Justice gets its way, he will die in federal prison.”

“Just by one of these counts, conspiracy to obstruct justice, which has a 20-year maximum sentence,” Levin continued.

“This is a disgusting, disgusting mark on American history, for the future to come by these bandits in the White House, by the Democrat Party,” he added.

“They don’t play fair anymore. They want to take control of the country. They want one-party rule. And they have used the Department of Justice and the FBI to get what they want,” Levin explained.

“I don’t want to hear from the legal analysts, the technicalities about false statements and obstruction. This should never have been a criminal case, willful retention of documents.”

“Well, what’s the un-willful retention of documents mean?” Levin asked. “They’re throwing all these process crimes and all these crimes that grow out of the criminal investigation against Trump.”

“What did he do with the documents? Did he sell them to the enemy? No. That’s why we have an Espionage Act, not to trip up a president. What did he do? Did he burn them all? No! The government has all the documents back! So there is no violation of the Presidential Records Act at this point.”

“But they throw the book at him?” Levin said. “They made the decision to interfere in this election. You wanna talk about an insurrection? This is an insurrection!”

“And that’s exactly what’s going on here. Let me go on, Joe Biden is the crookedest crook that’s ever been in the Oval Office.”

Levin concluded, “What is going on here is a disgusting disgrace. It is war on Trump. It is war on the Republican Party.”

President Donald Trump is undoubtedly the target of politically corrupt and biased forces operating inside the Biden administration and the Department of Justice.

Famed Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz said Special Counsel Jack Smith was assigned only one job: “Get Trump.”

“He was assigned only one job – to get Trump,” Dershowitz said.

“If you put aside all your resources and do what [Supreme Court] Justice [Robert] Jackson warned about 80 years ago – where he said it’s a question of picking the man and then searching the law books or putting investigators to work to pin some offense on him – that’s what they did.”

A similar argument was made by billionaire Elon Musk who said the Department of Justice’s decision to indict former President Donald Trump jeopardizes the confidence of the American people. Trump is leading the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

“There does seem to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics,” Musk said.

“Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust,’ Musk added.

Responding on social media, President Trump called out the hypocrisy of the Justice Department as the Biden crime family has allegedly profited millions over many years by illegally bribing foreign agents and compromising America’s national interests.

“The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is ‘secured’ by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time,” Trump said on Truth Social.

Dershowitz said that Trump is fortunate because the case will be tried in Palm Beach County and he may get a “sympathetic” jury.

The Harvard law professor also said Trump has a “good judge” assigned to the case.
